Comments: Hello to everyone. I found this page and I wanna tell you all something about me. My Father Marvin Edward Jones (Eddie) was in Charlie Batterie from 59 to 61. I found his picture here on this page. He married my mom in 62. She was the daughter of the railroad man from railroad Station in Brackenheim. Is there anyone who knows my Dad? Waitung for some answers,Steve.
Comments: Was on Maintenance Crew, (22F20?) early 1967 thru April 1969. I was the guy who always seemed to have a camera slung around his neck. (except in the launch area). The photo from Dec, 68, Crete II, Fire 1 was taken with my camera although not by me but the road guard to whom I loaned my camera for the photo. The photo of the ASP Crew has some that I remember. Far left, 2nd row, is Staff Sgt. Bobby G. Long, just to his right with the briefcase is yours truly, middle front row is SFC Stanford. I believe that the middle of the 2nd row is CW4 Lowry. I have some photos from from my tour of duty that I'll try to find and get them uploaded to your page. Might be while though to find them. Reading this website brought back some GREAT memories.

Comments: I was stationed at C-1-67 Hardheim from '65 to '68. I was a 24Q radar maintenance in the IFC section. I arrived there from the Key Largo Florida N-H site as a SP4 and left as a SP6. A lot of fond memories, some really good people to work with and a lot of work in those 3 years, but it was a good opportunity.

Comments: I was at Charlie Battery from Nov.1966 to Nov.1968. I was looking for 32nd Air Defense Artillery Patch and found this, how great is this.
Comments: With Charlie 3rd 71st from May 1961-November 1963. I arrived at C Battery as a 630 but OJT to 177 after 6 months. Performed a number of jobs while there including B section panel operator, generator building operator and LCT operator just before I left.
I can remember my first day at C Battery (19 years old), I accompanied some of our comrades to the Castle and had my first taste of German beer. If you look at the 3rd71st 5th anniversary C Battery group picture, I am second from the right bottom row.
I don't know if you ever heard of a certain PFC who while on guard duty in the launch area (tower 2) fired two warning rounds because he saw someone on the fence at 3:00AM.
That would be me!
Have fond memories and would like to hear from anyone there at the same time. Still going strong
